Belt it Out! Using Karaoke and Other Tools to Promote Student Engagement

Howard Gardner of Harvard identified eight learning intelligences: linguistic, musical, mathematical, spatial, bodily kinesthetic, interpersonal, intrapersonal and naturalist.   It has been proven that differentiating instruction to meet the need of the individual student fosters academic success. This session will demonstrate how Karaoke and other tools help increase student engagement and vary assessment.   It is believed that the suggested strategies will make the class more interactive and useful for the student.
