Increasing Student Success through Multi-Modality Feedback & High Touch Strategies

Feedback is critical to learning which supports metacognition and neuroplasticity. This session examines feedback through the lens of Mind (pychology), Brain (neuroscience) and Education (pedagogy) science. Building upon Universal Design for Learning, explores the concept of feedforward and how multi-modality feedback can assist students with becoming aware of strengths/weaknesses and with transfer of learning. High touch strategies for providing multi-modality feedback (text, voice, and video) will be shared and demonstrated. Quantitative data and qualitative feedback will also be shared.
